To be honest I can boldly say that I’m the person who introduced Betfair (Signup now and get £50 FREE Bets) to Indians and not only I introduced BF to Indians but also educated them on how to make money from this betting exchange.
I’ve been receiving a lot of requests on Cricket Betting blog asking me to clarify Betfair account verification process. This is really hilarious because firstly it’s very simple and straight forward process and secondly that I’m not Betfair employee 😉 and I don’t get paid to sort out things which Betfair should be doing.
Anyways keeping up with my true spirit of helping all those who request I’m clarifying on Betfair account verification process for Indian customers.
Betfair account verification is not different from any other bookmaker’s account verification process. It is always better that you verify your account first before uploading money.
Required documents for Indian customers
Login to your BF account, from the top right My Account menu click on My Betfair Account and from there click on ACCOUNT DETAILS tab and you will see following page:
Betfair -> My Account -> Account Details
Click on upload personal documents link which is on the right bottom corner. You will see following page.
Betfair – KYC – List of required documents
See the right side of this window and you will find the list of required documents. On left you can upload these documents one by one.
In addition to uploading you can also email these documents to the email specified there.
After a day or two contact their online chat support and ask them to verify your account. You might have to upload these documents to chat support.
If chat support says that they will contact relevant department and will let you know in a day or two then you will have to apply some social engineering. Tell chat support that you are ready to deposit £2000 into account to bet on the upcoming match now and if account is not verified it will be delayed and you will bet elsewhere 😉
These bookies salivate to see new customers depositing money and they will do anything to take you on board.
Betfair have merged Australian wallet into main wallet so following section isn’t relevant.
How to remove restrictions around betting on Australian Market
This is another pain with BF as they operate a different site for Australia/New Zealand market. If you are planning to bet on any sport, including Cricket/ICC World Cup, being played in Australia or New Zealand then you might have totake some additional steps. As you can see on the above page you have to get these documents signed by a professionally-qualified person (lawyer, teacher, doctor, civil servant, etc.), who must put their name, signature and rank/title, to certify that they have seen the original document.
This should a very easy process for you. Just catch a joker wearing black & white uniform in any court and ask him to sign these documents. Don’t say it’s for a betting site. Just say you need these documents to show a bank. Pay him Rs. 50-100 and job done.
Upload these documents again, email them and contact chat support to remove restriction from Australian market.
FYI I didn’t have to verify my account for Australian market, it was verified along with my main account.

How to verify neteller or skrill acct

I have been betting for as long as I can remember. Like most punters, have been down most of my life. But recently I covered all my losses over past several years. I made close to 5 lakhs on Bet365.

They don’t check with authorities. They have employees in their customer services team who manually check these documents. Your documents might be rejected but you can give it a try. Just make sure that don’t play unless your account is fully verified.

PAN is not required, you need to show your ID & Address proof. Give them all these document there is no risk. For Address proof you can show electricity bill, DL, Bank Statement etc.

Yes dude, that’s common sense. Verify account first, deposit small amount, withdraw that money and if all work then only start for betting. In betting too first deposit small, withdraw and if all works then increase amount.
