Always Sunny in Australia.
1st match of the Australia v South Africa ODI series went down exactly as per my prediction. 1st ODI was a very difficult one to predict specially when thee have not been seen in action recently. Kangaroos scored 300 which, as per my prediction, was enough for Australian to win. Aussie pacers did brilliant job in removing early wickets and getting rid of tail-enders to secure the match.
South African lost early wickets but as per my other prediction AB de Villiers was almost on the verge of snatching match away from Kangaroos. He was looking dangerous and received good support from David Miller at the other end. When both were at the crease it looked like SA will cruise to victory easily.
After fall of David Miller and AB de Villiers’ unfortunate run out it all went in Aussie’s way.
SA were sloppy in the field and they dropped Bailey 4 times. I’m not sure why they keep Imran Tahir int he team. He doesn’t contribute and wouldn’t be effective at all on fast pitches. And his dropped catches and sloppy fielding can be entirely blamed for defeat. get that man out of the team.
My prediction for 2nd ODI remains same as it was for the 1st ODI. Australia will remain favorite. Both teams will, more or less, remain same except that Clark will be out due to hamstring problem (yet again, sic).
It’s same venue and same result is expected.
No team has ever chased more than 279 at WACA so batting first and scoring 280+ will secure the match. Team winning toss will opt to bat first.
If Australia is batting first then back Australia on Betfair at higher odds. starting odds will be around 1.50 (50 paisa). Back Aus with 25% of your bank for this match at 1.50 odds. Wait for wickets to fall and when odds increase and then back with some more money. If you get odds higher than 2.0 then back with rest of your money and wait for the interval.
If Aus score 275+ then odds will shorten to be 1.2 or less. Green up and exit the trade. Don’t continue with trade in SA innings or you will be sweating and might get heart attack if SA are looking strong. They are not a weak team and they can even chase down 300+ score. It’s always wise to exit the trade at interval with some profit rather than risking all your money.
If Aus are restricted to less than 260 then it will become risky and you can either green up and exit trade or continue into SA innings and green up when few wickets fall.
If SA bats first then wait and watch. If SA are looking like to score 250+ then start backing Aus at higher odds. If they are heading for 300+ then wait till the end of their innings. If SA score around 300 then back SA. If they score less than 275 then back Aus and green up in Australian innings when they are looking good.
Those unfortunate ones who like to gamble can back Australia with local bookies and prey to Lord Ganesha for good luck!
You are never going to make profit in this way. I’ve advised you guys thousands time before not to bet with local bookies. Open account with Betfair and start trading if you want to make some series money.
If you have followed my prediction for the 1st ODI then you will be in 50% profit. Trade for this match with 50% of that profit.
